The comprehensive networking of systems not only opens up new possibilities, but also entails increased security risks. We are researching methods for analysing the security of heterogeneous, hard-to-access and diverse end devices with critical functions (‘edge devices’). The use of artificial intelligence (AI) enables measures to secure operational technology (OT), which is used in production plants in numerous industries and presents companies with ever-greater operational challenges.
