The Project
The project enables the further establishment of the ROBOTICS Solution Center in Carinthia in order to develop forward-looking automation solutions in Carinthia in collaboration with industry, tourism, hospitality, and care sectors. In doing so, we combine research with practice, create pilot projects, promote knowledge transfer, and open up new innovation potential for companies. This strengthens the competitiveness of the region and provides impetus far beyond Carinthia.

JOANNEUM RESEARCH ROBOTICS
Project Details
The project enables the targeted expansion of the JOANNEUM RESEARCH ROBOTICS Solution Center in Klagenfurt and promotes cooperation between industry, tourism, hospitality, and care.
The aim is to strengthen the role of the ROBOTICS Solution Center as a central point of contact for automation and robotics and to provide even more targeted support to companies in these industries in overcoming current challenges such as skills shortages, rising costs, and quality requirements.
We offer companies the opportunity to experience the latest research firsthand: Various types of robots are available for testing, pilot projects, and the implementation of ideas in a 500-square-meter laboratory space. From the initial feasibility study to the scalable solution, practical demonstrators and new business models are created that can be implemented and scaled in the region.
This enables us to not only create concrete solutions, but also build trust in new technologies. Through active participation in regional networks, targeted knowledge transfer, and successful pilot projects, we demonstrate the benefits of modern automation. This offering is complemented by individual consulting and innovation workshops, which we use to identify new potential and develop practical best practices.
