REL – ROBOTICS Evaluation Lab

Modern production involves the use of robots. Do you want to upgrade your production to the latest standards while ensuring the safety of your employees? Then the ROBOTICS Evaluation Lab (REL) is the answer!

In our measurement laboratory, we analyse collaborative robot applications and evaluate them with a focus on safety. In the REL, we measure the pressure and force load during contact situations between humans and robots (biofidelic load) and conduct a comprehensive safety analysis of robot applications during the design phase. This ensures that your employees and production are always protected

We are at the cutting edge and are researching on

  • Advanced verification, testing and inspection methods
  • Simulation and emulation methods for robot applications
  • Testing procedures for complex applications with dynamic behaviour patterns
  • Analysis of application modifications and parameter variations

The ROBOTICS Evaluation Lab offers the following services for industry and business:

  • REL-Force: Determination of biomechanical force loads and their conformity assessment according to ISO/TS 15066
  • REL-Pressure: Measurement of pressure loads and their local and temporal progression in contact situations
  • REL-Consulting: Consultation from the initial design of the system to CE marking
  • REL-Analysis: Safety assessment and risk analysis
  • REL-Training: Training and further education in the field of robot safety

Increase the productivity of your company with us!
