Application process
Start the application process 1
When you have found a vacancy that sounds right for you, click on “Apply online now” to launch the application process. Set up a user account and fill in all of the required information. You can send us your application by clicking on the “Submit your application” button. You can log into your user account at any time to upload documents, check the status of your application, read any responses you’ve received, or apply for other positions.
Documents 2
We usually only need a copy of your CV, although the job advertisement could ask you to submit some other documents as well. Of course, though, please feel free to include other documentation such as a covering letter, certificates, testimonials, etc. or a link to your LinkedIn or Xing profile.
Reply 3
After you submit your application, you will receive an e-mail confirmation straight away. However, please note that due to the large number of applications we receive, it might take us a while to get back to you with a decision.
Interview 4
If your application meets all the requirements, you will be invited to an initial interview with the person responsible for the position you applied for. The interview is a way for us to find out more about you personally and answer any questions we have. Depending on the vacancy, you could be invited to additional interviews.
Employment contract 5
If the interviews go well and it’s clear that you’re the right person for the job – and you can see yourself working for us – you’ll receive an offer to sign an employment contract. Once all the details are settled, you can start your career with us and become part of a national and international team. We look forward to working with you!
Onboarding 6
To help you get off to a smooth start, on your first day with us you will receive a welcome e-mail containing all the information and documents you need. In addition, we hold an information and onboarding event for new employees, called Welcome@JOANNEUM RESEARCH. Your new colleagues are also there to help during the early stages of your career with us.
