JOANNEUM RESEARCH utilises artificial intelligence (AI) technologies across a range of areas of work. These include systems developed in-house as well as applications from external providers. We use AI as a tool to support work processes, process information and tap into new technological possibilities.
In the case of publicly accessible content, generative AI is used solely in a supporting role. It does not replace either expert judgement or human responsibility for the content. The selection of topics, research, academic and editorial analysis, fact-checking and authorisation for publication are all carried out by the staff at JOANNEUM RESEARCH.
All texts created with the aid of generative AI are reviewed for content by experts in the field prior to publication. Editorial responsibility for published content remains with JOANNEUM RESEARCH.
