Depending on your qualifications, your responsibilities will focus on the following areas
- Leitung von nationalen und internationalen Forschungsprojekten als Senior Scientist
- Development and implementation of innovative solutions in the areas of high-precision GNSS and multi-sensor localization, resilient PNT (jamming/spoofing detection, characterization, localization, mitigation), and signal processing.
- Koordinieren von interdisziplinären Projektteams: Aufgaben-, Termin- und Budgetplanung
- Mitarbeit in der Akquisition von nationalen und internationalen Forschungsprojekten
- Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeit in nationalen und internationalen Forschungsprojekten mit Fokus auf Methodenentwicklung im Bereich GNSS
- Reporting gegenüber der Gruppenleitung, Kund*innen und externen Förderstellen
- Mitwirkung an wissenschaftlichen Publikationen und bei Konferenzen
- Forschungstätigkeit in einem Spezialgebiet der GNSS
- Technische Überführung in Kundenlösungen
- Akquise und Management von Forschungsprojekten und Umsetzungsprojekten
- Publikationstätigkeit und Teilnahme an Fachkonferenzen
- Weiterentwicklung zur thematischen Leitung eines Forscher*innen-Teams
Your qualifications
- Abgeschlossenes Doktorat oder äquivalente Berufserfahrung
- Interesse an Networking-Aktivitäten und Forschungskooperation
- Kenntnisse der nationalen und europäischen Forschungs-Förderprogramme (EU, ESA, FFG, FWF) inkl. Antragstellung
- sehr gute einschlägige naturwissenschaftliche Grundlagen (z.B.: Nachrichtentechnik, Signalverarbeitung, Mathematik, künstliche Intelligenz)
- sehr gute Programmierkenntnisse in Python oder/und C++
- Erfahrung bei der Umsetzung von KI-Softwarelösungen von Vorteil
- Kommunikations- und Präsentationsstärke in deutscher Sprache (Level C1)
- very good English skills for documentation and technical discussions
- independent and goal-oriented work
- ausgeprägte Team- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit, Erfahrung in Teamleitung von Vorteil
- Erfahrung in der Umsetzung von kundenorientierten Lösungen und in der Kundenbetreuung
- Bereitschaft zur erweiterten Zuverlässigkeitsüberprüfung
