As part of the TWINNING project, which was led by POLICIES togehter with FFG, FWF, the German DLR and the Latvian Daugavspils Universtiy, a delegation from Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation (SRNSF) under the leadership of General Director Erekle Astakhishvili visited Vienna.
TWINNING projects are designed to provide very practical support to countries and institutions in capacity building and process and policy development. During intensive workshops, topics such as the organisation of project management cycles at the funding agencies FFG and FWF, the design of evaluation processes and the application of bibliometric methods were presented and discussed. The project will be continued and finalised with workshops in Georgia.
