High-precision 3D surveying, automated generation of UHD maps and subsequent creation of simulation-ready digital twins enable efficient inventory and maintenance management for road and rail infrastructure. The work is based on a Building Information Modelling (BIM) system for mapping objects and their changes.
Intermodal transport solutions serve to create a mobility system which reduces energy consumption and environmental pollution (including rebound effects). Our agent-based transport model – "LIFE M obility and Activity Model” – provides a basis for investigating the traffic, energy and environmental characteristics of these effects in advance.
