The Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology, in cooperation with the Austro Control and the Austrian Research Promotion Agency, invited participants to exchange ideas, network and discuss.

Under the motto "Drone Strategy 2.0 - Implementation in the EU and Austria", more than 200 participants from industry, research and authorities came together at the Drone Forum Austria to discuss the latest innovations in the areas of the EU's drone strategy and its national implementation. Due to the high number of registered participants, the presentations were also broadcast live on the internet. The keynote speech was given by Natale di Rubbo from EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency.

Current topics from research, technology and innovation were presented as part of gallery walks. Franz Graf and Martin Blass were invited by the BMK to organise an information stand on the topic of "Noise emissions from drones". The regulation of and compliance with noise emissions from drone flights will play a key role in the acceptance of drones by the public in the future. Our experts from DIGITAL therefore presented the new EASA measurement recommendation for measuring noise emissions, which is being extensively analysed for its practical feasibility for the first time as part of the TAKE-OFF project "UAS-NoiseCheck".
