We develop energy and climate policy strategies for business and politics, and analyse the economic impacts of climate and environmental policy measures on regions, the economy and people.

Our research focuses on energy markets, renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies, energy communities, sector coupling with mobility and industry, decarbonisation of the building sector and nature-based solutions as well as the adaptation of all these technologies into everyday consumption patterns.
