The project

The project aims to demonstrate and integrate innovative solutions that enable the creation of an environment in which grid operators have better technological tools and consumers are able to realise the potential of their energy resources.

Our activities in the project

Within the project, we are particularly concerned with the user engagement issues and the design of innovative business models. During the project, we will evaluate the social and economic results and make political recommendations based on the expertise gained in order to facilitate further dissemination of the tools.

Details of the project

The main aim of the project is to create a flexible ecosystem that breaks down interoperability barriers and promotes the use of standards. The aim is to decarbonise electricity grids and focus on the end user.

Via interoperable software modules, the project will provide network operators, consumers and market participants with new functions:

  1. Technologies to increase flexibility in the consumer environment
  2. Technologies for grid operators to improve the management of grid problems


Blockchain is being used and further developed as a reliable data space for various players to manage this. This will create a reliable energy system in which different sectors (electromobility, gas, plant construction, etc.) can work together.
