About the person

Barbara Stadlober leitet seit 2010 die Forschungsgruppe „Hybridelektronik und Strukturierung“ bei MATERIALS. Sie studierte Experimentalphysik an der Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz und promovierte 1995 am Walther-Meissner-Institut für Tieftemperaturforschung der Technischen Universität München. Anschließend war sie als Mitglied des F&E-Teams bei der Siemens Halbleiter AG / Infineon Technologies AG in Villach tätig. 2002 wechselte sie zu JOANNEUM RESEARCH. Zu ihren aktuellen Arbeitsgebieten zählen die organische Elektronik, Optoelektronik, Sensorik sowie Nanotechnologie. Ihr Hauptinteresse gilt derzeit dem Design, der Verarbeitung und Integration von mikro- und nanoskaligen elektronischen und sensorischen Bauelementen auf der Basis organischer und hybrider Materialien.
