About the person
Feichtner studied electrical engineering at Graz University of Technology, where he also obtained his doctorate with a focus on biomedical engineering. He has held various positions at JOANNEUM RESEARCH since 2005, including head of major development projects and, most recently, innovation and marketing manager. Since January 2022, he has been Director of the HEALTH Institute and is responsible for the strategic direction of the institute as well as its entire operational and economic management. As an organisational developer, he aims to create and maintain attractive structures that retain people in an organisation. Thematically, he is involved in the field of digital health and has a strong network of academic, public and economic partners in this area.
