We assess the AI competence needs of organisations, teams and diverse target groups and develop tailored training formats. The focus is on critical AI literacy: recognising bias, using AI reflectively, developing governance requirements and applying AI responsibly.

Artificial intelligence is fundamentally changing research, innovation and organisational processes. To use AI systems in a high-quality, transparent and socially responsible way, organisations need more than basic technical knowledge. They require critical analytical competences, including an understanding of data and model bias, the limitations of automated decision-making systems, legal and ethical frameworks, and the ability to assess AI applications in context.
From needs assessment to effective competence development
Our approach combines a structured needs assessment with target-group-specific training. First, existing competences, fields of application, uncertainties and organisation-specific risks are assessed. Based on this analysis, training modules are developed that connect to real work processes and make critical AI literacy practically applicable. The service is suitable for research teams, managers, administrative units, project developers and research funding organisations.
