M365 – Administration

The primary responsibility of the IT Services Department is to maintain and develop the company’s enterprise-wide IT services. To this end, the department operates a modern, high-performance information and communications infrastructure tailored to the company’s needs, which is continuously enhanced to support research at the highest level.

To support our motivated team in the IT Services department at our Graz location, we are hiring for the following position in the area of

M365 Administration

on a full-time basis.

€4,200 gross, paid 14 times a year (pro-rata) – on a full-time basis; willingness to offer a higher salary for candidates with appropriate qualifications and experience

Depending on your qualifications, your responsibilities will focus on the following areas

  • Operation and optimization of Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online
  • Administration of the 365 environment, including Identity & Access Management (EntraID)
  • Interface management between M365 and third-party tools (cloud/on-premises)
  • Support and troubleshooting in the M365 environment
  • Automation and error analysis to ensure smooth operation
  • Support for migration projects (e.g., on-premises to cloud), integration of third-party tools
  • Documentation, process optimization, and knowledge transfer within the company

Your qualifications

  • Completion of a technical degree (HTL, FH, university) in IT and initial professional experience in the administration of Microsoft 365 environments (at least 2–3 years)
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams
  • Knowledge of automation solutions such as Power Automate is a plus
  • Understanding of cloud concepts (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS)
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong service orientation
  • Very good written and spoken German skills (Level C1)
  • Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills

  • a fair and market-aligned salary of €4,200 gross per month (full-time basis), paid 14 times a year (pro-rata), based on the collective bargaining agreement for employees in non-university research — adjusted to regional labor market conditions.
