Advanced despeckling based on real SAR intensity images

This work presents a novel despeckling method for synthetic aperture radar images, addressing the persistent challenge of speckle noise. Leveraging deep learning techniques and multiple input images of a time series with inherent speckle, our proposed approach achieves remarkable speckle reduction while preserving important image features. Experimental results demonstrate superior performance compared to traditional but also to CNNbased approaches.
