Abstract:
Collaborative robotics, which involves robots working alongside humans in shared environments, is rapidly transforming industrial processes by enhancing productivity, safety, and ergonomics. This paper explores the potential of collaborative robotics in promoting several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to well-being, gender equality, innovation, and sustainability. By integrating collaborative robots and exoskeletons into the workforce, companies can improve working conditions, reduce occupational injuries, and enable a more inclusive, diverse labor force. The paper discusses how these technologies contribute to sustainable economic growth by fostering innovation in industrial settings and promoting responsible consumption and production. Through case studies and examples of real-world applications, we highlight the positive impact of collaborative robotics on both individual workers and organizational performance, emphasizing the alignment with global sustainability efforts. In conclusion, the integration of robotics into human-centric workplaces is shown to drive not only efficiency but also equality and well-being in modern industries.
