The in Learning for Generations implemented and over several months successfully tested game concept of intergenerational learning (Web-2.0 platforms for the elderly and young) has been adjusted and implemented for a further experiment by an expert team of the research group Intelligente Informationssysteme. For those who seek advice – on the topics computer and internet as well as the help of computer and internet experts – can ask questions, give answers or create simple learning materials and have them rated by other Users on this adapted platform fitimnetz.kleinezeitung.at (german).
The “Kleine Zeitung” recently started offering a printed product addressing topics like Internet, social medias, digital signatures etc. on a regular bases. The current platform community will keep growing due to the link between content based reading and exercise books with the online possibilities and therefore reach the critical mass which allow for the sustained use of the platform. This way people with the need for further education on computers and internet can exchange knowledge and receive the answers to their questions.
