The new H2020 project RESOLVD aims at improving the efficiency and the hosting capacity of distribution networks, in a context of highly distributed renewable generation by introducing flexibility and control in the low voltage grid. Co-ordinated by the University of Girona seven partners from Spain, Greece, Norway, Slovenia and Austria will develop hardware and software technologies to improve low voltage grid monitoring with wide area monitoring capabilities and automatic fault detection and isolation. DIGITAL's competence group for Cyber Security and Defence will establish efficient and effective cyber security protection mechanisms for the RESOLVD project.
